Hello to all our prayer supporters,
Thank you all for your prayers as we minister here in Australia. Our schedule is full this month. Please pray that all goes well. The ministry team from Cedarville University is with us now, and is doing great work on the stage in our fellowship hall/auditorium. We are pleased with their abilities and hard work.
It's also nice to have our daughter, Amy, here along with the team. She's helping out in the work as well as spending time with us. She'll be going back to Ohio on the 24th.
We will both be heading to Perth on Friday for Barb to compete in the national Sweet Adelines singing competition on Saturday. It'll be good to get away for a few days, even with the team here. They'll be taking care of themselves and continuing with the work while we're away.
We enjoyed our fellowship of churches' annual Bible conference last week. The speaker was excellent and challenging. We also distributed 350 free water bottles at the community Market Day here in town, along with invitations to church. Matt has had the opportunity to share the Gospel almost every week at FOCUS. A visiting mathematics professor from Asia has really softened to the claims of Christ and has just about come to the place where he understands enough to trust Christ as Saviour.
Luke will celebrate his 18th birthday on the 25th! He'll be enjoying a day of paintball with some friends.
On the 26th we'll celebrate Australia's Thanksgiving Day. We've invited some international university students to share with us on the day.
Barb's looking forward to the annual ladies' retreat at the end of the month. After her competition, and the ministry team, and the birthday, she's looking forward to "retreating" for a weekend.
